Access to Technical Education and Apprenticeship Providers

Our Lady’s Catholic High School is committed to ensuring that all pupils understand the full range of education and training opportunities available to them.

Throughout their time at Our Lady’s, pupils have opportunities to meet and engage with a range of education, training and apprenticeship providers. These encounters enable pupils to learn about technical qualifications, apprenticeships and other progression routes alongside academic pathways.

Our programme includes encounters with local further education colleges, training and apprenticeship providers, employers and other organisations. These take place through activities including our Careers Fair, National Careers Week, year-group events, apprenticeship talks, college encounters and visits to apprenticeship events.

We are committed to meeting our statutory duties regarding access for providers of technical education and apprenticeships and ensuring that pupils receive meaningful provider encounters at the appropriate points during Years 8 to 11.

Providers wishing to request access to pupils at Our Lady’s Catholic High School should refer to our Provider Access Policy, which sets out the school’s arrangements and procedures for provider access.
