Lancashire County Athletics Championships

A number of pupils competed in the Lancashire Track and Field Championships at Witton Park, Blackburn on 13th May 2023, representing their athletics club, Preston Harriers.

Congratulations to George and Will who competed in the Under 17, 1500m final at the weekend and ran really well in the hot conditions.

Congratulations also go to Cameron Orr, who competed in the Under 17, 100m heats and the Long Jump; and to Lucy Beesley, who competed in the Under 17, 200m heats on Saturday at Witton Park. They all competed well with Cameron just missing out on a final place after a runoff took place for the last lane in the final.
