Year 10 and 11: Mixed Netball Results
The Year 10 and 11 mixed netball teams were in action last Thursday, away to Archbishop.
The commitment to training has been exceptional and we had twenty two pupils in total representing Our Lady’s at the fixture.
The hard work definitely paid off as Our Lady’s dominated both matches. Year 10 we’re up by nine goals to two at half time thanks to some great defending by Hector, Dylan and Daniel. Jake and Lucy B. were quick to bring the ball down court, whilst Judy and Lucy M. got free to create shooting opportunities in the circle. Year 11 were equally impressive. Finn, Trae and Erin got free from their players to work the ball effectively down court. Will and Millie were consistent with their shooting in the circle. Joel made some well timed interceptions. Consequently, Year 10 won 12-6 and Year 11 won 12-5.
Players of the match went to Judy who was playing out of position at goal attack but shot exceptionally well and Jay who showed great team work on court.
